Agency Events with The
Ehrenberg-Bass Institute & Springboards.ai
Good work doesn't happen in a vacuum. Some of our sharpest thinking comes from putting our agency in the same room as the people actually shaping the industry.
That's the idea behind our event series. Each one is built around a single voice worth listening to, with every detail, from the identity to how it moves across social and into the room, designed to make their idea impossible to ignore.
As Art Director, I lead the creative direction end to end: developing the visual concept, translating a speaker's point of view into something visceral, and carrying it across every touchpoint, from the room to the feed to the live animations on-site.
Rage With The Machines
Featuring Pip Bingemann, Founder of Springboards.ai, flying in from Sydney. Recently named one of Australia's Top 100 Leading Innovators.
Raw layouts, high-contrast type, a little bit of chaos on purpose. The identity leans into punk zine energy, built around one image: a human hand shaking a robot's hand. AI isn't the enemy. It's the collaborator you didn't know you needed.
Pip Bingemann took the stage to make the case for humans embracing AI as a tool for better work, not a replacement for it, and the visual language matched that energy: irreverent, a little defiant, unmistakably alive.
Our role: full event branding and environmental design, extended into social content and motion, with animated versions of the identity playing live at the event itself.
The Uncomfortable Truths of Brand Growth
Featuring Justin Cohen, Senior Marketing Scientist at the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science, working alongside famed strategist Byron Sharp, specializing in brand growth, emerging markets, advertising, retailing, and beverage marketing.
A geometric pattern inspired by the eye from Ehrenberg-Bass’s owl mascot, shifts, and slides across the space, echoing the way a mind actually works: restless, associative, never quite finished. A variable font stretches and expands right along with it, type as a living thing rather than a fixed mark.
Justin Cohen brought the Institute's research-backed, occasionally humbling take on what actually drives brand growth, the kind of talk that makes agencies rethink their own instincts.
Our role: full event branding, carried across social and brought to life in motion, with the pattern's growth and shift animated live at the event.
